I regularly fall in love with characters in the stories that I read, watch, and listen to. I love fallowing their arcs, sharing in their joy, and crying my eyes out with them. As a writer, I hope to create characters that other people will love just as much. Characters we can all celebrate with, laugh with, cry with, and grow with.

I want to write stories of Love, Friendship, Family, and Community from the perspectives of characters who feel like real people. Characters who are flawed but are trying their best to connect with the world around them. Characters who just want to be happy, and feel loved, and be a positive part of their communities.

I’m a huge fan of the fantasy and sci-fi genres and believe strongly in the importance of utopic writings. Though I also love a good dystopian story, I have been craving stories that depict a world better than our current reality. Hopeful imaginings of utopic futures or magical societies with benevolent leaders who truly care for their communities.

I believe these depictions are important to see and share as they can give us hope and inspiration for the world we want to collectively create. These are the sorts of stories I would like to write.
